Artist's Comments

so... it's a big gothic contruction, built in 1442-44 in the north of Poland, in the medieval city of Gdansk... the same city where the "Solidarnosc" (Solidarity) and Lech Walesa started their battle against comunism.
The crane was almost burnt to the ground during the Second World War and reconctructed few years after, i used a photo reference taken before the war.

hehe... nie chce sie wymadrzac i udowadniac jaki toja jestem super a jaki tamten rysunek jest zly... jakkolwiek jest tam niezla kiszka:-) nie chodzi o niekonsekwencje w cieniowaniu, ani o male urozmaicenie w fakturze drewna, cegiel i dachówek... rysunek jest ciezki, wymęczony, ale to juz kwestia gustu... najwazniejszy jest... a wlasciwie są koszmarne błedy w perspektywie... niektore sciany nie wydaja sie okrogle tylko jakies takie wypukłe, okna sa w innej perspektywie niz sciana co jest niemozliwe... itd itp... ale ktos poswiecil na to duzo czasu co mozna docenic:-) dzieki za linka;]

link byl tak dla ciekawosci (choc jest tam tego budyneczku o wiele wiecej wykonan na tej stronie - pozniej znalazlam) i sama rowniez smiem twierdzic, ze Twoje wykonanie o wiele bardziej mi sie podoba:)
